2022 NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL: CANCELLation Notice
As we continue to monitor public health warnings and our fellow arts organizations’ festival plans, and in conjunction with our hosting institution, University of Arizona, FNMC has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel this year’s New Music Festival. We want everyone to be safe and healthy, and we just don’t know if we can ensure that at a public gathering this winter. At this time, registration for the convention is closed, and refunds will be issued for those that have already registered.
The proposal committee was blown away by the number and strength of performances and workshops you all sent our way and we want to try to give you a voice and celebrate your accomplishments, even if from afar. If you were scheduled to perform at our NMF this February and have a video performance of your work, please send it our way ([email protected]) for inclusion in our social media posts and YouTube channel.
The Zyman Commission premiere week is still on (February 19-27), so please continue to share your performances with us!
