FNMC Presents: #Living Room Performances
FNMC is happy to announce details of our 2021 Living Room Performances of Living Composers Social Media Competition! This series will feature performances of our freshly commissioned solo flute piece by Composer Mentee Lauren McCall (Round 1) and of the 2021 FNMC solo flute winner of our annual Composition Competition, Zaq Latino (Round 2). The competition is open to flutists of all ages and all submissions will be made by tagging FNMC on Facebook and/or Instagram. Each category of the competition will be advertised separately according to the timeline outlined below.
There are TWO categories for entry:
Category 1: Fantasy by Lauren McCall
To obtain the score, join FNMC or purchase directly from the composer.
Deadline to submit: August 15, 11:59pm CST
Winning Prize: Membership in the Zyman Commission
Category 2: fitting-in by Zaq Latino
To obtain the score, join FNMC or purchase directly from the composer
Deadline to submit: September 15, 11:59pm CST
Winning Prize: Membership in the Esmail Commission

Make sure your post is public so we can see your entry! Winner will receive a free spot as a commissioner of either our Zyman or Esmail Commissioning Projects.

- In the caption of your video, include the name of the composition and the composer. Also tag @flutenewmusicconsortium.
- Follow @flutenewmusicconsortium via either Facebook or Instagram.
